Sirius Satellite Sportster 5 Radio. After months of problem solving Sirius told me to buy a new unit. I’ve bought a new antenna and a new dock. Now after neither of these solved my problems I have to pay for a new Sportster 5 and have to pay $15 to activate it. Now they want $75 to transfer my lifetime subscription because they don’t deem my unit is faulty or defective. Even though the guy from Sirius who told me that dock and play units wear out from docking too much. Which I found odd. After wasting hours at an installer and hours on hold with Sirius I decided it was not worth the double fee. Having dealing with this for the past two months and now figuring out that yes the units Antenna dock must be wearing out and somehow my FM modulator wire is wearing out. The static you hear in this video is the fm modulator wire. So To fix all my problems Sirius wants me to pay for a new Sporters $85 plus a Sirius Activation fee of $15 and a Lifetime Transfer fee of $75. Plus a new FM Modulater kit $20 plu I already bought a new Antenna $30 and Dock- which a pro Sirius installer told me is all I needed $15. Plus my time and effort to install and to take apart my car apart again. I’m having a miserable time with my Sirius, I’ve loved this product and have recommended, Now I see how they treat their consumers, which is horrible. I cant wait for technology and hope Stern goes to the internet.
